Manufacturing in Ulyanovsk – The factory on the Volga River

Lying to the east of the gates of Ulyanovsk, the modern industrial shop floors extend over an area approximately the size of three football fields. DMG MORI is writing Russian industrial history here. In the birth city of Wladimir Iljitsch Uljanow – better known as Comrade Lenin – around 130 workers manufacture the most modern machine tools for the Russian market. The factory was opened in September 2015 and is another milestone for the city on the Volga, which has long been known as an industrial center.
