EuroSkills Gdansk 2023 - European Championship of Young Professionals
EuroSkills is the largest vocational education and skills event in Europe and is held every two years. EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023 is the eighth edition of the EuroSkills competition and was hosted for the first time in Gdansk, Poland. It took place from September 5 to 9 and welcomed around 600 qualified young professionals under the age of 25 from 32 countries to participate in the competitions. Among them was Polish participant Rafal Rygalik.
DMG MORI Polska actively participated in the preparations of EuroSkills Gdanks and the support of the Polish participants. They organized various training sessions and preparatory activities over 7 weeks to prepare the Polish participants in the best possible way. Especially involved in the training of the participants was DMG MORI employee and application mechanic Patryk Rudź, who used to be a participant in the CNC milling competition himself and is now our employee. Thanks to the great supports, preparations and his talent as well as willpower, the Polish competitor Rafał Rygalik won the EuroSkills championships in Gdansk and subsequently visited the DMG MORI stand at the EMO in Hanover 2023. DMG MORI was one of the main sponsors of the EuroSkills 2023 in Gdańsk and also sponsor of the Polish competitor who successfully won the gold medal.
