Dr. Frank Beermann (Chief Operating Officer, DMG MORI China) and Jian Gao (Managing Director and President of DMG MORI China) opened the ground breaking ceremony in the presence of many official representatives of Pinghu City and Pinghu Economic-Technological Development Zone (PEDZ). Highest quality standards, continuous digitalization and a state-of-the-art assembly line with AGVs for 5-axis milling machines characterize the new production site. The grand opening of the 35,000 m² plant is scheduled for spring 2023. The total area covers 70,000 m². In Pinghu, 300 attractive jobs will be created under purely Chinese management. Still a rarity for foreign companies.
