As part of our procurement team, you ensure the optimum and timely supply of product materials. This includes operational order handling of series parts as well as your core tasks of adapting and coordinating delivery dates with our suppliers and logistics providers on the production plan. You’ll also assist other departments through close collaboration, for example in quality assurance involving complaints or in bookkeeping for the verification of supplier invoices.
Your duties
- Operation handling of orders of series components (materials planning)
- Separate management of “A-parts”
- Shortage management, order processing
- Adaptation of delivery dates to the production plan (particularly in postponements)
- Management, processing and tracking of order confirmations
- Generation and use of PPS-associated tools
- Coordination of dates with suppliers and logistics service providers
- Maintenance of order dates in the PPS system
- Management of special reusable packaging
- Complaints assistance in QA
- Management, processing and tracking of order confirmations
- Verification of suppliers’ invoices
Your profile
- Completion of a specialist vocational training (minimum 3 years) and specific vocational advanced qualification (1 year) or several years of vocational experience required
- Knowledge of machine tool building supply circles
- Knowledge of process operations in machine tool building
- Competence in project management
