Become a DMG MORI test engineer

As a test engineer for DMG MORI, a broad range of exciting tasks await you. As part of management, you lead the testing team and are responsible for verifying findings. You’re in your element in predetermining test content in relation to the problem at hand, and you enjoy collaboration with our customers with regard to any arising problems. Your analytical skills also provide support for our service department in problem analysis.

Your duties

Train and guide test employees in carrying out acceptance tests
Verify and release test results
Ensure that testing devices are state of the art
Define standard work instructions for machine testing and ensure their application
Requesting, co-designing and testing verifying orders from the design department
Determine test content corresponding to problems
Carry out and document tests on the basis of test orders
Develop improvements and test them autonomously
Verify test results and test reports
Receive and resolve customer problems
Support the service department in problem analysis and solutions

Your profile

You should have completed vocational training in the field of mechatronics / metal / electronics as well as additional completed vocational training in one of the above subjects, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the above subjects
Sound knowledge in machine servicing, NC programming and machining
Additional knowledge in the area of machine tools, machine dynamics, drive control, thermal behavior, and CE and related standards
