Become a DMG MORI area sales manager
Our area sales managers make up the spearhead of our sales department. They represent DMG MORI over an entire region and advise our customers on the entire DMG MORI product portfolio. At the same time, they are the interface between customers and our production plants, and communicate customer requirements in order to always sell the best possible solutions, tailored to their needs.
Your duties
- Identification and acquisition of new customers, generation of cases of need
- Systematic oversight and consultation for existing customer base
- Independently carrying out complex projects from first contact until contract signing
- Continuous market observation and creation of demand forecasts and order forecasts
- Collaboration and knowledge transfer with suppliers and with the internal sales team
- Representing the company at trade fairs and in-house exhibitions
Your profile
- Successfully completed technical vocational training with qualification as technician, master craftsman or comparable technical training
- Successful sales experience in machine tool building
- Specialist skills in lathe / milling or laser / ultrasound technologies
- Communicative personality that confidently represents the company
- Convincing manner and excellent negotiation skills
- Thinking/acting in a solution-oriented and customer-focused way
