Education & training

We want to offer our employees long-term career prospects. Good education and training opportunities – whether at the entry level or as an experienced professional – are important to us in order to support their commitment and promote their strengths. Because it is only when our employees are qualified and remain so can DMG MORI stay successful. This is why we train young people all over the world and individually promote our employees with a diverse range of training and advanced training programs.

In our DMG MORI high-potential program, selected talented people are trained to fill a specific position in the future. A mentor and a line manager closely supervise them to allow them to develop personally and professionally during everyday working life. All participants undergo various training modules during the scope of the program.

For all other employees we offer a diverse range of technical and commercial further training that is tailored individually to their requirements.

Remuneration

Good performance is well rewarded, which is why all of our employees are given an attractive remuneration package. Independent of the position, they are given additional variable performance-related payments. On top of this, we offer additional payments: for example we make a contribution to private pension schemes. 

Workplaces

We are an innovative and dynamic company – therefore the workplace and people must be a perfect fit. This is the only way to guarantee healthy work practices. This also represents our workplaces, whether they are on the factory floor or in the office. This applies to the capabilities, talent and personality of a person as well as the physical work. Fitness

We want our employees to thrive working with us. Our employees’ fitness and health form the basis for the quality of their lives, and support their personal capacity to perform. At the sites, we have entered into sport and health agreements with local companies. This provides our employees with the opportunity to keep fit in sport courses, fitness studios or individual sports groups.

Our company doctors offer preventive measures and checkups at the sites. We hold health days to provide our employees with information on the subjects of healthy eating, fitness or dealing with stress.
