As a student according to the “Ulm Model”, you have a multifaceted area of application. You’ll complete scientific studies with practical content and gain valuable professional experience during your study years along with full vocational training. In addition to intense supervision from company employees, you’ll also acquire excellent knowledge from the university faculty and can compare experiences in study groups. Your training is designed to be varied and interesting. A monthly training allowance provides you with financial independence. The dual curriculum program ensures a high likelihood of subsequently being hired.

Dual curriculum study program – the ideal combination of theory and practice with the Ulm University of Applied Sciences

With a program of study according to the “Ulm Model”, three partners are responsible for your education and training: the Ulm University of Applied Sciences providing theoretical study, the vocational college, and DECKEL MAHO Pfronten GmbH as a place of practical learning. You’ll be both a university student and an apprentice / employee in our company.

All participants undergo various training modules during the scope of the program.

For all other employees we offer a diverse range of technical and commercial further training that is tailored individually to their requirements.

Remuneration

Good performance is well rewarded, which is why all of our employees are given an attractive remuneration package. Independent of the position, they are given additional variable performance-related payments. On top of this, we offer additional payments: for example we make a contribution to private pension schemes. Moreover, we have also introduced a group-wide bonus model: If DMG MORI is successful, our employees benefit from this too.

Feel comfortable from the first day on – our smart onboarding program will make sure of that. Our new employees are perfectly prepared for their work and integrated into the group.

Every new employee is provided with an individual onboarding plan for this. We work closely together with our training academy and the factory locations to convey the technology that DMG MORI offers worldwide. We are able to ensure our quality standards together during our training program.
