Become a trainee at DMG MORI

Our individualized trainee program normally runs over 24 months. During this time, you’ll learn about various interface functions and our operational processes, have the opportunity to establish a network, and use and expand your acquired knowledge. Outstanding supervision and expertise serve as the basis for your professional future at DMG MORI. We are continually growing on all important international markets, and your chances of being hired at the end of the trainee program are excellent.

Your duties

  • Get to know the structures, processes and interfaces of our company
  • Individually coordinated work or walkthroughs of our divisions
  • Training in all kinds of areas / establishment of a personal network 
  • Use and deepening of the knowledge acquired in your course of study
  • Gather your first practical experience through working on individual topics and projects

Your profile

  • Successfully completed course of study in a technical or business field
  • Some practical experience through internships or an apprenticeship
  • High level of motivation and commitment
  • The courage and will to make a difference
  • Team spirit and thirst for knowledge

In our DMG MORI high-potential program, selected talented people are trained to fill a specific position in the future. A mentor and a line manager closely supervise them to allow them to develop personally and professionally during everyday working life. All participants undergo various training modules during the scope of the program.

For all other employees we offer a diverse range of technical and commercial further training that is tailored individually to their requirements.

Remuneration

Good performance is well rewarded, which is why all of our employees are given an attractive remuneration package. Independent of the position, they are given additional variable performance-related payments. On top of this, we offer additional payments: for example we make a contribution to private pension schemes.

At the sites, we have entered into sport and health agreements with local companies. This provides our employees with the opportunity to keep fit in sport courses, fitness studios or individual sports groups.

Our company doctors offer preventive measures and checkups at the sites. We hold health days to provide our employees with information on the subjects of healthy eating, fitness or dealing with stress.
