Become a DMG MORI buyer (technical)
You use your professional and industry knowledge to analyze the international procurement market for needed parts and components, in order to carry out comparisons and the further development of purchasing processes. A further core task is to promote close and trusting oversight of our suppliers and their development and qualification. You are additionally responsible for drafting contracts and providing commercial support of projects.
Your duties
- Creation of market analyses of the international procurement market
- Selection, qualification, development and supervision of suppliers
- Further development of purchasing processes
- Obtaining and assessing quotes, analysis and creation of quote comparisons
- Leading price and contract negotiations
- Preparation of contracts, concluding of individual and framework contracts
- Commercial support of projects (both external and internal)
Your profile
- Successfully completed course of study in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or similar qualification
- Several years of professional experience in strategic /operational purchasing, ideally in the area of tools and machines
- Experience in automation a plus
- Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities
- Independent and responsible work style
- Business fluent English skills (written and spoken)
- Excellent PC and data processing skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP skills (BaaN) a plus
- Team skills and strong communications skills
