Become a DMG MORI designer (electrical)
As a designer with a specialty in electronics, you’ll be part of our motivated and highly-qualified team. You’ll be involved in constructional planning, the coordination and oversight of prototypes, special customer-specific projects, and series production. Together with your colleagues and in close collaboration with other departments you’ll actively shape the future of machine tool building.
Your duties
- Complete development and design of the electrical aspects of our machine tools
- Electric design of additional components in the machine periphery
- Independent creation of ePlans, circuit diagrams, connection diagrams, BOMs and documents
- Standardizing and specifying interfaces and systems
- Independent development of special, customer-specific solutions
- Oversight of prototypes and series, carrying out of commissioning
Your profile
- Successfully completed course of study in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or comparable training with corresponding technical specialty together with many years of professional experience
- Basic skills in machining, machine dynamics, drive control
- Excellent skills in electric engines, in the designing of electronic components and the wiring of process operations in machine tool building and of CAD systems, and in the handling of electrical diagrams
- Good skills in machine safety, particularly of CE machine guidelines
