Become a DMG MORI software developer
As a DMG MORI software developer, you specify and develop the PLC, NC and HMI software for our machines and their control systems. You’ll also carry out function tests of software components and be responsible for the commissioning of machines and prototypes. You’ll work in close collaboration with our customer service team and be assisted by them in troubleshooting and solutions as well as with upgrades.
Your duties
- Specification and development of PLC, NC and HMI software for machines and their control systems
- Carrying out function tests of the developed software
- Versioning, release and bundling of software components
- Parameter setting of software functions
- Head the commissioning of machines, prototypes and test benches
- Independent document creation of software functions
- Close collaboration with customer service in troubleshooting, solutions, and upgrades
Your profile
- Completed course of study in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or comparable training with corresponding technical specialty
- Demonstrable knowledge of software development
- Basic skills in machining, machine dynamics, drive control, and thermal behavior in machines
- Experience dealing with standard software such as MS Office
